I’m George - a neat, friendly, animal-loving Brit, who is based between Australia and the UK.

I’m a video editor that works fully remote. This enables me to housesit, taking care of peoples homes, plants, gardens and pets.

It began in 2015, looking after a friend’s home in South Melbourne, whilst they travelled to Europe. Since then I have housesat on 15+ occasions, varying in length from 4 days to 4 months.

I’ve taken care of houses big and small, from Tasmania to the South Downs - and enjoyed every minute. I take great pride in looking after people’s homes- Allowing your time away to be stress free.

Why housesitting?

Housesitting is one of those exchanges that just makes sense. Pets stay stress free with a familiar routine while their humans holiday. Plants are watered and cared for, so a happy house and garden awaits your return. Homes are lived in and loved, with someone to collect the mail and dust the shelves. All the while, housesitters enjoy a home away from home. For me, the chance to connect with new places and communities - while helping people out in the process - is a dream arrangement.

How I housesit?

With me, you will return to your home as you left it, attentively loved for and maintained in your absence. I love daily walks with dogs and the company that pets provide. Taking care of gardens, lawns and veggie beds is also part of the service. As a house guest, I’m tidy and considerate- and with an online job that require an internet connection and little else, I’m around to shower your pets with pats - plus, I’m known to send cute pet snaps via whatsapp/email, so expect to be kept in the loop.

Helpful housesitting skills
